The 25-year-old vines are located on the best hillside slopes of the Maranges villages near Santenay. Clay-limestone terroir. The low-temperature fermentation allows for the creation of a very fruity and round wine, enjoyable to drink when young and capable of aging very well, even for over 5 years. Produced in only 6,500 bottles per year.
In appearance, it is a brilliant and deep crimson red. On the nose, aromas of black currant and cherry emerge. On the palate, soft and silky tannins are noticeable, making it a structured yet elegant wine.
