The particularity of the appellation Santenots, located around the village of Meursault, is that its wine is called Meursault Santenots when planted with Chardonnay and Volnay Santenots when planted with Pinot Noir. Thanks to their geographic location, Santenots wines combine power and elegance.

Grape variety: Exclusively 50-year-old Chardonnay vines

Surface area: 0.25 ha

Terroir: Stony clay-limestone soil

Working method: Vines sown with grass - leaves thinned out

Maturing: 10 months in French oak barrels - 40% new oak

Production: 1,200 bottles/year

Dress: Very brilliant yellow-gold

Nose: Intense fragrances of white blossom, grilled almond, and honey

Mouth: Fleshy and generous, well-balanced with a light acidity and subtle oakiness

Pairing: Poultry, fish dishes, or a cheese board of goat cheeses
