Neuenahrer Sonnenberg

Neuenahrer Sonnenberg

The Sonnenberg Frühburgunder is a single-vineyard wine, which means that the grapes come from the best plots of the site Neuenahrer Sonnenberg. Our vineyard is one of the oldest Frühburgunder vineyards that still exists on the Ahr and is located on the ridge of the Sonnenberg, which is ideal for taking advantage of the long growing season and maintaining the freshness of the wine. A little spicier than our Pinot Noir, the Neuenahrer Sonnenberg Frühburgunder is delicately fruity and balanced at the same time.

Soil: loess-clay, slate, greywacke,

Vineyard: ecological cultivation of the vineyards, focus on manual work on the steep slopes, 100% hand harvesting
