The term Les Cras comes from the word craie (lime). This terroir is located near Volnay on gently sloping ground, with soil rich in limestone and stones. During vinification, this wine undergoes a final fermentation phase at a warm temperature. This method produces a generous wine that blends elegance and power.

Grape variety: Exclusively 55-year-old Pinot Noir vines

Surface area: 1 ha

Terroir: Stony clay-limestone soil

Working method: Vines sown with grass - leaves thinned out

Maturing: 1 year in French oak barrels - 50% new oak

Production: 5,500 bottles/year

Dress: Purple garnet-red, deep and brilliant

Nose: Complex and powerful, blending red fruits, undergrowth, and spices

Mouth: Spicy, rich in ripe grapes, offering a perfect blend of elegance and power
