The Champs Gains vineyard is located at an altitude of 330 metres, above the Montrachet and on the Meursault side. It is one of the most renowned “climats” of Chassagne-Montrachet. According to some geologists, Puligny’s geographic position imparts great elegance to its wines.

Grape variety: Exclusively 30-year-old Chardonnay vines

Surface area: 0.45 ha

Terroir: Very stony clay-limestone soil

Working method: Vines sown with grass - leaves thinned out

Maturing: 8 months in French oak barrels - 30% new oak

Production: 2,400 bottles/year

Dress: Brilliant, pale gold with green hints

Nose: Mineral notes, white blossom, and grapefruit

Mouth: Racy, full, complex, lively, and persistent. The dominant characteristics of this wine are finesse and elegance

Pairing: Flambéed king prawns, scallops, grilled salmon steaks, or sole fillets
