Tasting Note
Intense in colour with ruby reflections, the nose reveals a harmonious blend of red fruits lifted by subtle oak. The palate is full and expressive, marked by spice, freshness, and elegance, carrying through to a long, persistent finish.
Beauregard is one of Santenay’s best-situated Premiers Crus, located between the villages of Santenay and Chassagne-Montrachet. As its name suggests, it offers a spectacular view of the Saône River plain. Beauregard is vinified with 30% whole bunch fermentation, resulting in a wine with a very complex bouquet and especially silky tannins. It can age gracefully for at least eight years.
Food Pairing
A cut of Charolais beef, a rack of lamb, or farmhouse poultry.
